From a business tax perspective, your company has created business “nexus” here in Nevada and the “
Nominee Officer/Director/Manager” service that we include allows you to conduct business privately without your home State involving itself in your Nevada business. If you eliminate our
Nevada Privacy & Corporate Virtual Office Package, the alternative is for us to “downgrade” your services to the
Annual Records & Statutory Registered Agent Service. In this case no “Privacy” services would be afforded: You would need to be listed on the Nevada Secretary of State’s Website as “Manager” for an LLC or as "President", "Treasurer" and "Director" for a Corporation. Additionally if anyone, including your local State Taxation Agency contacted our offices, we would have to explain that we act as registered agent only, and the company does not have offices here.
Most States consider a Nevada Company that is “Managed” by Managers or Directors resident in your home State, to be “doing business” in your home State. This requires its registration with your home State Secretary of State. This triggers additional filing fees, the appointment of a home State Registered Agent and often the payment of the minimum annual business taxes. This can also trigger issues with workers compensation insurance etc. Other considerations include the potential liability or security ramifications of having your name and address listed publicly.
If you so choose, we would be happy to “downgrade” your services and handle the
Foreign State Filing Service for you.
Overall when faced with these choices, even considering the annual cost, most of our clients choose to maintain the use of the
Nevada Privacy & Corporate Virtual Office Package .
