General Incorporation FAQ’s
What is the State Required "Business Registration" or "Business License"?

Per NRS 360.780,  Once Incorporated, a Nevada Corporation or LLC is required to complete a Nevada Business Registration Form with the Department of Taxation and pay an annual fee. We include this with ALL our incorporation packages. Most Incorporators ”forget” to tell you about this requirement in order to keep their prices artificially low.

The State issues what they call a “State Business License”. This is obviously a franchise tax and explains why it is administrated by the Nevada Dept. of Taxation. There is however no annual tax return due, just payment of the $100.00 fee (effective July 1, 2009 - June 30, 2011 temporarily increased to $200.00). Effective October 1, 2009, the Business License Fee will be administered and collected by the Secretary of State's office.

Per NRS 360.780, the Nevada Business Registration must be made on a form “prescribed by the Department”. If you go to the Dept. of Taxation website you will find the necessary registration form:
Form APP-01.00. This form is extremely invasive of your privacy as it asks for: Full names, home address, SSN, date of birth, title, % of business owned and telephone number of ALL Owners, Partners, Corporate Officers, Managers and Members. It even goes further and states: If the Business is comprised of 2 or more corporations or other Entities, list the officers/membership etc for each Entity.

Most Incorporators mail this form to you "after the fact", and you are FORCED to disclose ALL of your personal information to the Tax Dept. You would have NEVER agreed to this if you had known!

How does Nevada123.com avoid using Form APP-01.00 to avoid disclosing my personal information?

The Tax Department “prescribes” an alternate form to select "full service" Registered Agents. This form is provided to Nevada123.com to complete for and on behalf of our clients. This form asks for LIMITED  PERSONAL INFORMATION and is completed by a NOMINEE OFFICER or NOMINEE MANAGER. Your personal information is never included in the registration!

Remember! Nevada123.com is serious about protecting your privacy! Don't Incorporate with another provider and risk releasing your personal information to the Tax Dept.  Review our incorporation packages.
